• Make sure that you have uploaded your current CV to our portal. This will be forwarded to the companies you are registering for. You are welcome to use our CV check beforehand.
• Please arrive on time for check-in and for any event appointments that have been announced in advance and on site.
• If you are unable to attend, please be sure to cancel. This can be done directly via our portal.
• Dress code: Come as you are! You can't go wrong with anything from casual to business casual.
• Find out about the participating companies in advance and prepare questions.
• Practice introducing yourself and your previous career in about two minutes in advance. This will be greatly appreciated, as will your questions at the company stands.
• While you are there, visit companies you haven't seen before. It is very common to discover new career paths at our events.
• No matter what you are studying and in which semester you are, approach the company representatives at the event with confidence and authenticity. They are there to get to know you.
• Network with the people you meet at the event via XING and/or LinkedIn. You can also get in touch afterwards and ask questions about the application process, for example.
• When you apply, be sure to refer to the event and the person from the company that you may have met there. This is an important door-opener!
